you are ever the victim blamer

we are the threat

you always warn about

that never comes to pass

you are catastrophe

fully realized

in the death tolls we amass

you are the claim

of equality

yet supremacy on that basis?

we are the proof

of your lies

your prize innately racist

you are the sick smile

when your men

pull the trigger

we are the sweet laugh

when we meet

the grave digger

you say liberty

you say liberalism

we cry liberation

you think freedom

is your name

but it’s our occupation

you fancy yourself the lion tamer
